A Message to Those Deployed
Often does a member of the Armed Forces go unnoticed by our media for something more financially rewarding. In many cases the sacrifice comes at a price. One example is many of those tied to the service tend to have an unfavorable opinion of the media as a whole. When celebrities or minor stories seem to have the attention of the American airwaves more than the Lt. from a small community that was killed by an IED is becomes numbing to the rest of Americans that we actually have tens of thousands of our own in a hostile environment. This is not to say this should be the only thing ran on the news but the men and women deserve a little recognition for the work they are doing overseas.
Here at MilPages we want to bring that to the forefront that anyone from around the world can read the good and the bad about what is really happening. We also want to send the messege to the field that we are keeping each and every Airmen, Soldier, Seaman, Marine, and Coasties in our prayers and hope everyone of them make it home to continue being fathers, mother, cousins, friends, and much more. We want to recognize those that sacrifice in our frontpage blogs. If you have a story that you want someone to read on our frontpage please send it to us. We want to help change the silence that has come over the war. It’s time we honor those that have given us so much.
